Design, research, internationalization, distributional excellence and communication through mediums directed towards the general public as well as the trade, plus a common commitment to sustainable production: these are the focal points of the brand’s strategy for growth and success. Specializing in textile beds, Twils completes its offer with furnishing collections that include chests of drawers, settees, armchairs and a line dedicated exclusively to children.

The idea for the Ramses bed by Twils came out of the increasingly common need to use this basic furnishing element for activities that are normally carried out in other places, such as reading, storing books, watching television, etc., without the shape and size getting in the way.  The simple and highly intuitive lines of this bed immediately reveal the possibilities it can offer.  It is available with soft fabric or leather or eco-leather upholstery and includes a traditional, inviting 160 x 200 cm mattress.  The integrated, suspended bedside tables are not just beautiful to look at but also make cleaning easier, as does the design of the feet.  The bed is available in a high backrest version, with a shelf and independent courtesy lights, as well as in a low backrest version which also has courtesy lights, if required.

The outstanding size and elegant lines of the bedhead give Nelson its own distinct personality.  The bed frame, which can also be coffered, is tapered, making the base appear lightweight and functional.  Nelson interprets the aristocratic signs from our past in a contemporary key through the tailored cut of the upholstery and the edge-to-edge seams of the chamois leather.
“I designed the new Celine bed, produced by Twils, to successfully combine a neo-romantic feel with a contemporary style.  The idea came from an attempt to reinterpret traditional shapes in a current key, using tailoring techniques such as double felling, which makes the seams extremely neat and resistant.  I paid great attention to the details, the selection of all the construction materials and the upholstery.  This versatile model perfectly suits both classic and modern ambiances, creating a pleasant contrast effect in either setting.  The proportions of the large headboard blend harmoniously with the essential character of the bed, creating a personalized frame.  This is a new way of interpreting classical styles that accommodates the references imposed by ongoing evolutions in trends." Silvia Prevedello
